In the side for North Otago were R. J. T. Halvorsen (captain), A. Berry, J. K. Martin, G. Johnson, G. Sutherland, S. Mosely, S. McCone, G. Edmunson and E. Sawers.

North Otago player, Stanley Mosely, was selected for the South Island side in the annual North Vs South match for 1950.
